Intro

First, a warning, this is likely going to be a relatively long post so you’ll definitely be reading for at least a minute. It’s definitely crazy though, it’s only morning time but I definitely feel as if I’ve lived a full day’s worth of experience. In any case though, now that I’ve warned you, we can proceed.

Apple. Not the fruit, but the company. I haven’t used an apple product in quite a long time and I’m today I feel thankful for that. Can you believe that those guys are actually charging $99 a year and $299 a year just for publishing an application? Absolutely unbelievable in my opinion.

I already thought it was a bit sleazyy for Google to charge a one-time fee of $25 to publish an app on their store. It was whatever though. These Apple guys though, that’s another thing. Imagine being so consumed by greed that you charge an annual subscription to your own developers. No wonder a lot of cool android products never transfer over to Apple stores.

Maybe make it a twentieth or even a tenth of the original price and then we can talk, Apple. Until then though, I’m actively denouncing Apple. I already didn’t like them for the past decade due to their company practices. This, however, is the straw that definitely broke the camel’s back.

Outro

Well that’s pretty much all that I have to say on the matter. I greatly apologize but we will not be serving any of Apple’s platforms. On the other hand though, I’m currently developing an application for Linux distribution.

That’s really all that I have to say on the subject for now anyways. Maybe there is a chance to still serve iOS & MacOS, but that likely requires some grand changes to the company’s own infrastructure.
