Intro
In a previous post I’ve talked about how Beyond Digitality could inevitably become seen as humanity’s digital gadfly. While that would only be one of our several functions, it is a position that I would undoubtedly welcome with open arms.
There are a lot of different big media sites floating out there. Most have their own, sectarian agenda to attend to unfortunately. Very few attempt to be unbiased and genuinely helpful towards everybody in humanity. One site I can think of at the moment would be AllSides. It’s a pretty useful tool for seeing the political biases of certain news articles are.
That’s only politics however. Regardless of how politics may be when it comes to society, it is only one segment to consider. In any case though, let me stop right here and get right on with the critique of this image set.
Critique
When I first looked at this set, the bottom-center image immediately captivated me. It’s probably the most anthropomorphized gadfly in comparison to the rest of the set. So it’ll definitely become one of the site’s animal mascots.
The other three gadflies are pretty decent looking and I’m happy with them. Other than that though, what about the top-right image? I really have no idea what’s going on in that picture if I’m being frank. It’s definitely supposed to be a human-looking hand, but I really don’t know how that would insert itself into a set of gadflies.
But hey! If the stable diffusion generator wants to call that a gadfly, then so be it I suppose. I definitely can’t criticize the generator’s creative tastes. After all, I’m merely a beggar here, I can only be grateful for what I get. In any case, that’s really all that I have to say for this image set. I’ll see you all next time!
