Sailing Across a Sea of Stars

Intro

To be frank with you all, this is not quite what I was hoping for. Regardless, the images were rendered beautifully, there is no doubt about it. I have always held a romantic notion of space, considered to be the final frontier. I’m sure that, realistically speaking however, outer space is not too big a deal. If anything, it could merely be me wondering if the grass is greener on the other side.

Perhaps my idealization of space merely comes from the feeling that space is relatively untouched by humanity. Time marches on, and everything changes on this pale blue dot we call Earth. It’s gotten to the point where we more-or-less massively affect our own environments. But then we look at Space, and we see that it’s always been there, seemingly unchanging.

That’s definitely impressive I think.
